Landing again on Easter Island
As a result of our arrangements with the government agencies concerned, March 17, 2006 was targeted for arrival of the crane in the island. On March 2, final loading work began in the port of Valparaiso. The Tadano staff team who went over the island ahead of the arrival of the crane made arrangements in detail with the local agencies concerned and persons in charge for controls and servicing of the crane.

The last greatest problem was how to land the crane as there are no facilities in the island available for large ships to come alongside the pier. The crane finally went ashore in good condition on the beach in the bay of Anakena (the only one available for large ships) thanks to cooperation given by the Chilean Navy as was the case with the previous one.
